Introduction to Textiles Colne Library Session 3

Today we used fabric paint to try lots of different paint effects, we used foam brushes on wet & dry fabric, sponging, stippling, using our fingers, smearing, dribbling, flicking, repetition of shapes.  These samples will be used as backgrounds for printing in later sessions.  Therefore we kept them quite simple in colour.

We also looked at colour theory to keep our warm & colds colour separate.
