Our students have recently completed the 'Craft & Sculpt' part of their 'Exploring Arts and Crafts' course over in Burnley, here a few images of their creations.
Students brought in objects of their choice that had texture and depth to make imprints into clay.. they almost look like old fossils!
This Sand casted hand is one of our favourite sculptures,
it just screams Dr Spock from Star Trek!
This is a different kind of casting called Mod Roc thats the stuff they use for covering broken arms and legs, rest assured nobody broke any limbs on the course, but they did make some amazing masks!
